Gary Jones, CSEP, has worked in the hospitality and special events
industry for over 15 years. His current title, Executive Director of Fun,
expresses his view on life as well as the events he produces and works
on. Equipped with a  phenomenal passion for producing fabulous celebrations,
Gary oversees every detail from start to finish. Gary has spent years
building relationships with clients and vendors alike to be ready to assist
him in all types of celebrations, from an intimate dinner for two to a
corporate awards dinner for 500 or even the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics.
Since
2003
Gary has served as president of the San Antonio chapter of ISES, the International
Special Events Society, and he has served as a board member since
the chapter’s
formation. Gary has earned international awards including the prestigious
Esprit Award for Entertainment Production, as well as prestigious regional
awards including the Texas Star Award for Design and Décor for two consecutive years. Gary earned his Certified
Special Events Professional (CSEP) in 2003, becoming one of only 200
accredited CSEPs worldwide. He is also currently involved with
the National Association of Catering
Executives (NACE), and the Alamo
Area Hospitality Association (AAHA.)
Gary has produced or co-produced fabulous events
for CitiCorp, Christus Healthcare, EOG
Resources and Clear Channel Worldwide. He has worked with events in
almost every possible hotel and venue in San Antonio and has traveled
with clients across the nation to produce events for them. |
